Jessica Krushensky, CPA, CFF

Jessica Krushensky, CPA, CFF, is a Managing Financial Analyst and testifying expert witness. She has worked on over 300 engagements providing litigation support, financial analysis, and economic damages quantification for an array of cases large and small. Whether the case is simple or complex Ms. Krushensky provides excellent client service throughout the litigation process.

Specializations include:

  • Personal Economic Damages – Loss of earnings and benefits, present value of future medical costs (life care plans) in personal injury, wrongful termination, and wrongful death matters
  • Business Damages – Lost profits, diminution of value, alter ego analysis, fraud, misappropriations, and financial statement analysis
  • Business Valuation – Valuations of sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability corporations (LLC), and closely held corporations. Application of discounts for lack of control (DLOC) and lack of marketability (DLOM)
  • Family Law matters – Asset tracing and characterization, income for support, marital standard of living, reimbursements (FC §2640), business valuation, valuation of restricted stock units (RSU's), employee stock purchase plans (ESPP), and pensions

Ms. Krushensky has over 15 years of accounting and finance experience throughout industries such as healthcare, information technology, construction, and real estate among others. Prior to joining Brinig Taylor Zimmer, Inc. (fka Brinig & Company, Inc.) in 2008, her previous work experience as an accountant and financial analyst entailed the creation of multi-million dollar budgets, financial statement analysis, non-profit equity accounting, internal audit support, and large data mining projects.

Ms. Krushensky is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). She holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting and financial management from National University of San Diego. Ms. Krushensky is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).

Jessica enjoys living in her small town of Alpine with her husband and two kids, being involved in little league baseball, camping, traveling, and creating awareness of "real" and healthy food.
